Why Women Leaders are Important: Perspectives from PNG and Australia

29 January 2018 -
6:15pm to 7:15pm
at National Gallery of Victoria

From campaign trails to boardrooms, the Lowy Institute’s Aus-PNG Network invites women leaders and gender equality experts to share what it takes for women to reach leadership positions in these neighbouring but very different countries. The evening will be moderated by Anna Kirk, Lowy Institute Research Fellow and Project Director of the Aus-PNG Network, and panellists will be announced closer to the date.

Exploring the distinctive perspectives and international trends shaping Australia and the world, leading global think tank and NGV partner, the Lowy Institute presents a series of evening conversations investigating propositions around NGV Triennial exhibition themes: body, time, movement, virtual and change.
