Handbags of Hope

27 October 2017 -
7:00pm to 9:00pm
at The Foundry

Enjoy an evening out with the girls to support our sisters in PNG who are suffering from domestic violence. With guest speaker Evan Bieso, a Papua New Guinean national, who is a case work manager with FemiliPNG.  A gold coin donation (or more) to help meet expenses of the night is welcomed. A light supper will be supplied, along with cold drinks & tea/coffee.

Ideally, we would love you to put some toiletries into your bag. These should include; soap, sanitary pads, shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitiser, lotion, powder, deodorant, lip balm/gloss, body wash, baby products like shampoo, powder & wipes. A tote bag would be fine too!
Another option would be to bring products that we can fill the handbags with. Items collected from hotels is fine, as long as unopened.
You are in for a treat to hear from our guest speaker Evan Bieso, a Papua New Guinean national who is a case work manager with FemiliPNG, the amazing organisation we are supporting. You will hear more about the seriousness of widespread sexual violence in PNG. You will discover the wonderful work Femili (Family) is doing in providing safe houses, food, clothing & shelter for high risk & affected women & their babies.
Best of all, you will get the chance to give a 'Handbag of Hope', which will be donated to a sister in dire need.

To find out more about Evan, or FemiliPNG go to Please RSVP before Wednesday 25 October.
