Join us for a lunch with Evan Bieso, Femili PNG’s Case Work Manager. Femili PNG operates a case management centre in Lae, Papua New Guinea, which assists survivors of family and sexual violence (FSV) to access the services they need. Evan is a nurse by profession and has worked in private clinics, as well as with Medicins San Frontiers (MSF) as a Mental Health Counsellor and Supervisor. In 2015, she joined Femili PNG as a Case Worker where her role involved crisis debriefing, crisis management, safety planning, rights based counselling and assisting with coordination among FSV service providers in Lae. In 2016, Evan was promoted to Case Work Manager. Evan is a Papua New Guinean woman from East Sepik Province and currently resides in Lae with her husband and four children.
