Mark Tamsitt is a Research Associate with the Lowy Institute’s Melanesia Program where his work focuses on Australia’s relations with Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands. Mark is studying a Masters of International Security at the University of Sydney and holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney with majors in International Relations and Government and History. He deployed to the Solomon Islands as a member of the Australian Army Reserve.
