Biography
Sarah Carter is the Manager, Australian Aid and Parliament Project with Save the Children based in Melbourne, Australia. She has organised learning tours for Australian parliamentarians to PNG, Solomon Islands, Jordan, Lebanon, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Cambodia. As well as her background in communications and government relations, she is also active in local government as a councillor for Maribyrnong where she has served as Mayor. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a former director of Western Melbourne Tourism and LeadWest, a regional advocacy group for Melbourne’s west. She holds a Bachelor of Communications from Victoria University.
