Aus-PNG Network Briefing and Lunch | Connecting PNG and Far North Queensland

The Aus-PNG Network is pleased to host a briefing and working lunch alongside the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair to highlight opportunities for coooperation between Far North Queensland and PNG. This free lunch event includes members of an exchange delegation from PNG, and will also connect with a sister-city visit to Cairns by representatives from the PNG city of Lae. At 11:00am, hear from experts on new developments in the Australia-PNG relationship, with briefings on youth connections, volunteering and labour mobility programs. From noon, hear from local government, industry and artists about links between the arts and cultural industries in the two countries, and enjoy lunch and the opportunity to network with the Aus-PNG Network in Far North Queensland.
